possibly using the same model as the grineer shield, this would be the first melee to allow use of your sidearm along side it. the shield would reduce accuracy on your pistol, be completely bulletproof, leave your arm open to damage when firing and only do impact damage. I have little aptitude for 3d modeling so if someone would enjoy making an alternate skin for it i encourage you to do so.

Why limit it to just shields. We could take the gun off a dead Moa and use it like a Supra. Im all for shields though, so +1.

it must be better to have a real shield weapon cause there's not grineers in all levels,and warframes are bigger than these shielded grineers so it need to be a bigger shield.and it also need to be better looking with its own capacities like a mod making it do a shield impact or something like that,a real combat shield in some!

I would be happy just expanding the functionality of the Aegis.  Allow true blocking while switching between melee and secondary weapons.  The design already looks great, just make it more functional.

Or maybe just add more sword-n-shield weapons....

How bout just making it so when you aim your secondary you block with the shield but are stationary.  I could possibly see it being OP in late game because of the defense.  Also maybe when holding down the fire button you do a shield-bash
