Can Someone Test Block Values On Melee Weapons?

If they all block the same amount dismiss this. But after looking at the ankyros I had a though. That thought was "hmm the ankyros kinda look like mini shields" then it hit me. What if its defining quality is it can block more damage than the average weapon. It would be interesting to test the guard values of different weapons. For example can swords block bullets better than say a scindo, or vise versa? But as I said in the first sentence, if I'm way off base on this one just say so.
