Rezagrats
I've only ever noticed fire damage distracting Corpus non-mechanical humanoids and sometimes Grineer for a second or two. Does it do some damage that just doesn't show up as a value would when shooting the enemy?
FiendFyre
It's extra damaging on infested.
Katakuna
Pro copy/paste skills incoming: "Although there is a burning graphic on enemies affected by fire damage, no additional damage over time effect takes place. However, Grineer and Infested enemies hit by fire damage have a high chance to either break out of cover or stop moving to try and put out the flames. In both instances, this makes them more vulnerable to additional damage from ranged weapons, or consecutive melee strikes."
OrtuOcelot
Sometimes when you host you'll see the elemental damage numbers, and most of the time you aren't host you won't see them but you're still inflicting elemental damage on enemies. But like said before, works great against infested.
Hariken07
not sure about the damage. but Grineer and Crewmen inflicted with fire will stop attacking you and will focus only on running around. :D
