Rework, One More Idea.

What is warframe for you?
Getting to end-game, basically you grind weapons or do endless survival testing new builds and try reach high score. For some is decorated dojos or make EM nice (Don't last long). Some people just play with colors and help other players to get into endless grind festival.
 
What did syndicate bring?
Extra grinds festival which made elite players (MR 17-18) getting more affinity than they've made to get there.
 
What is a long term objective in this game?
None, just collect or grind stuff and wait for new weapons and new stuff to grind them all over. (May have different approaches, well at least I got bored already of monotony)
 
What is fun in this game?
Without minimal of doubt the ninja mechanics, acrobatic movement, warframe synergy with weapons... 
 
What syndicate could bring us into the game?
Personally, in my point of view, syndicate in this term is NPC alliance. They hunt us, so we should hunt specifically them. Not in any place, but in specific place. So why not create a PvP Syndicate arena? Why no syndicate achievments, why no mentor system for new syndicate players. Why no SYNDICATE HALL? At least we got some specific syndicate mission. (<- YAY) 
 
How the ranks could work? 
You could only be master at one syndicate and you could be an allie of other syndicate. Just like now. The difference in growing in syndicate is your own MR. The elitist players would get great advantage over it, thats a fact. But why not to make syndicate tests + offerings to pass the test? Make them harder -> PvP 10 players in syndicate arena without dieng once, only with melee (THATS AN EXAMPLE). 
 
How the new players would benefit from syndicate system?
Getting their own rank up would help, but not mixed with affinity. That would be  descrutive viver history again. For example having 4 of each weapons (Primary, secondary and melee) leveled to 30. That would give them achievment completed. Leading them to take some test and paying the tax like now. (Thats only example)
 
- The rank 2 would be like 10 warframes leveled to 30 + test + offering.
 
- The third test would be having 1000 headshots in each faction + test + offering.
(The test would only start when you pressed it and not when your level 1 or level 2)
 
- The fourth test Master Frame -> Having all frames -> That are obtainable from bosses. (Leveled to maximum in Codex) (Elite players would benefit a lot from it)
 
 - The fifth and last test would be having completed all the missions on all the planets + defeating some secret boss from enemy syndicate which would be like Orokin Derelict Assasination + Test + Offering.
 
I'll reforce once again -> ALL OF THEM ARE EXAMPLES
 
How you would buy stuff from syndicate?
Now this may sound ridiculous, but here comes the carry program. 
 
Level 17-18 player taking a level 1-4 to mission where mobs are level 5? Not going to happen. So create missions based on syndicate level. Level 17-18 got bored and went to syndicate chat (Yeh new chat room) to take one newcomer or more. The host will select a mission which is rank 0.
 
Restriction:
- Users from enemy syndicate can't enter in to sabotage their own syndicate.
- Users with rank lower then the mission aren't able to join that mission.
- External missions would give fixed SMALL ammounts of syndicate points. (max ammount for interception and survival 200 points)
- The prices of mods and keys and supplies can continue the same.
 
The mobs shouldn't exceed level 15 and the level 17-18 wouldn't earn points alone in there. The mission shouldn't be endless, they should be like capture the flag with limited amount of rounds. Existing ones like capture, spy, defense and survival (ALERT MODES with limited stuff). 
Rank 5 for example should have level 60-90 enemies from other faction with the same type of missions with higher rewards, but not way higher.  
 
Summary: Overall it wouldn't make it so grindy, but more object oriented game. Quest with different type of objectives. Making an user able to achieve the same thing thought different methods and difficulties. BUT Thats just another idea.

Sorry but no.

Keep your pvp stuff away from my warframe, dark sectors are enough of a nuissance.

As an old player my love for the game (and many people's love) was the core PvE, PvP came because of the vocal CoD/etc fans.

 

Challenges to rank up? sounds like a good idea but it should not be done in a few days, as people will again start to cry for "more endgame".

We do need faction specific enemies and mission objectives, hunting random grineer/corpus for no apparent reason is not really immersive.

PvP Could be fixed with same warframe X vs warframe X with same Y weapons all. Generic stuff, no skills allowed just weapons. But even if you remove my PvP suggestion you have plenty of more implementation. Since by leveling your weapon or warframe wont give you any syndicate points, but give you only ability to take test.

 

P.S. I would be completly glad to remove all interception missions and add T4 key reward to rotation C defense level 20+ missions. While some of syndicate fixes would get implemented.
