Short range made up for with VERY fast attack speed and low charge time. (maybe also low charge damage, but multiple hits on a charge?) Base damage is pretty average (25-30ish) I think it would be a nice addition and could have some WICKED animations! Maybe if it had a large range, like hitting everything in a 360 degree around your warframe but with a very short horizontal range.
