Question about armor

Hello, I was wondering how armor really works.Does it reduce the damage from ranged and melee atacks or just the the melee ones?

no one really knows untill the devs come out with stats but from my empirical observations it reduces all damage to Health somewhat

Np im an insomniac and ive been waiting 2 hours for an alert since my coop partner isn't on and we are trying to keep even, what else is there to do lol

Actually armor is meant to reduce the damage dealt to your health points or so I was told about by Rebecca(who asked someone else from staff while she was at office) but then I never really see it works... I tried it before and no good, a friend also tried with around 680% Armor+% and nothing changed at all so... most likely broke! I asked Steve about it and he said he'd look into that but so far no reply.

Armor does work, I stack it and I take significantly less damage from physical melee attacks and bullets.
