New Idea For On-Going Event (Syndicates Idea)

The Lotus's location is being compromised!

We've been working for the Lotus for some time now, and the Corpus has finally decided to cut off the brains of the Tenno. After an extensive search while sacrificing thousands to distract the Tenno with trivial "threats" to the universe, they've found the first hint of the Lotus's location. She's... somewhere hidden (!!!)

Although not in any immediate threat, the Lotus has asked the Tenno to put an end to the search party, to avoid any possible discoveries by the enemy.
We can then proceed to do a new mission type:

In-game decisions! (This is where the syndicates come in)
Within the mission, the Tenno can do one of two things. Hunt down the search officer or assist the syndicate needing assistance.

You can trigger a capture if you hunt down the search officer, or assist the syndicate with their agenda... but you can only do one! (optional)
Here's an outline of possibilities:

Capture/kill the search officer (When he's downed, you can either capture him with X or finish him off with Melee)

or (Only one syndicate in each mission)
Steel Meridian: There's a hostage held by the enemy, and you must rescue them or they'll be executed. (rescue)

Arbiters of Hexis: They will force you to extract. They want the Tenno to stop being used as a weapon, a tool. Thus, they ask the Tenno to show their commitment to the cause by not being used by the Lotus for her own cause.

Cephalon Suda: Cephalon Suda wishes to learn what the search officer has uncovered during their search, and has asked you instead to steal some data (spy)
The Perrin Sequence: They think it's a golden opportunity to disarm the enemy ship, which would malfunction most weapon systems and turn the ship useless for months to repair. Thus, they have instead asked you to destroy the ship's core (sabotage)
Red Veil: The ship you're on turns out to have been involved in a recent massacre of settlements. The Red Veil asks that you eliminate every target on-board, before capturing the target... to ensure that nobody survives.

New Loka: The ship would be invaded half-way during the mission by the Infested. New Loka has asked you to focus on purging the infested instead, rather than your original mission.

You can opt to do both capture and syndicate objective, but there's a time limit until the target escapes, so it's not recommended. The Syndicate objectives must be completed first before the capture, thus forcing the players to make a choice. Although the players can split up to accomplish one of the two, only one will be arranged as the primary objective, so the first one to activate the mission will change the mission priority to their own. If the Syndicate mission is completed first, it'll change to the capture instead... if you can make it in time. Failure will only result in extraction, not mission failure.

If you fail the syndicate objective, everyone in the team will get penalized for the failure... thus breeding conflict for each Tenno with different alignments. The syndicate involved will reward points, and a small chance of an unique syndicate skin as long as you're neutral(Either skin for Liset, Emblem, or alternate skin for existing helmets). If you're hostile, you will receive an unique message that tells you that their animosity still remains, but they have changed their opinions about you... slightly.

Assisting a syndicate that opposes with your current one will cause you to lose points as well.
If you refuse to cooperate with your teammates... You will instead be penalized for EVERYTHING if you quit >:D
Honestly though, this will probably be frustrating for some... but hey this is just a suggestion.

After the event ends, the mission can then be independent but rather than involving the Lotus... it'll be between two Syndicates. Thus, you'll have to choose between assisting one of the two available syndicates objectives.
Some will allow you to do both ( if the two syndicates are allies) or will force you to choose one (if opposing)
You'll still get a timer, so priorities must still be made.
