I was wondering if DE or anybody else knew the answer to this. Basically, I'm wondering what kind of platinum gets spent first - non-tradable platinum or platinum you can trade.
I thought that non-tradable platinum got spent on market purchases, rushing things, etc first (since that makes sense; after all, you can't use it for trading). However, I just gifted a clanmate a reactor ('purchased' the reactor through the market) and the platinum was taken out of my pool of tradable platinum.
Is my assumption (that market purchases use up non-tradable platinum first) correct? And is gifting taking up tradable platinum first intended, or an oversight by DE?

My assumption seems right for regular market purchases (at least, according to this thread: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/268531-does-the-market-spend-starter-platinum-first/), but for gifting it doesn't seem that way.
Is my assumption (that market purchases use up non-tradable platinum first) correct? And is gifting taking up tradable platinum first intended, or an oversight by DE?
