[Suggestion] Civilian Level

This could be a whole new map type with its own unique gameplay and mechanics. The main focus of this level is to bring more stealth action and strategic planning when playing co-op into the Warframe. These levels should be found on potentially populated planets (Earth, Neptune, Mars, etc.) and they would contain following concepts and mechanics:

1) The map design - the design of this map will envolve around a urban area with high population, it should contain multiple side streets leading to a massive square with the access to main buildings which would hold the objective. It is not necessary for the other buildings to be accessible, but they should definatly provide an alternative path via balconies and rooftops.

2) The Gameplay - the mechanics of this level would differ greatly from all other levels. First of all the area would be filled with civilians (neutral faction), who would provide both a stealth cover and alarm replacement; thus by walking through the crowd your frame would be unnoticeable from afar and mid range, however any hostile action would force civilians to panic and alert the enemy guards. Your warframe would wear a cloack to conceal the exoskeleton, and if you get detected frame would throw the cloack off the it's shoulders indicating it is no longer safe to walk around. The map would contain very little amount of guards; some would be patrolling along the square and side streets, some would be guarding particular corners and locations. Getting in sight of the guard while wearing a cloack would keep them unalerted, getting in mid range would raise their suspicion and they would move towards you, and finally if they see you in up close you will be discovered. The guards will not suspect you in mid range if you move between the crowd, but will suspect you in up close even with civilians around. The final and most critical gameplay change is the weapon allowance, your frame would be allowed to choose one weapon for the entire mission ( Can be explained by the multiple weapons not fitting under the cloak or civilian sector weapon detection, etc. ) thus it is up to player whenever he/she wants to bring a melee or a silent ranged weapon.

3) Objective - This level type would only support assassination, spy and deception type missions. The objective whenever it be a target, console or control module , would be placed into the main buildings around the square. Your frame's challange is to get through the side streets and squares undetected, avoiding alarming guards or panicking the civilians. As said before there could be two paths leading to main objective; first being the standard blend-in with the crowd method where you would try to get to the main buildings through the streets or a more parakour oriented rooftop/balcony jumping. Now the buildings themselves should be designed in a way of allowing player to hide, take alternative routes and lure enemies out. This seems hard to do with a co- op play but I have though of a 3D map of the building and area around it provided by Lotus. What this means is that all players could interact with one map in order to mark paths and create beacons for each player. This planning feature would motivate people to a more cooperative gameplay where people would combine their positioning and strategy to deal with the guards in the main buildings. For example while one player crouches along the corridor, another player could be raising suspicion of the guards blocking that corridor from the other side luring them out and leaving the path open.

4) Rules - In order to recieve full credit and exp, players must reach their objective undetected ( no alarms), if they get detected the reward is reduced to 2/3 of the original. Now why is it important for it to be a civilian level is that for every civilian death you would lose 10 credits and 10 exp. The guards would push civilians out of their way before firing at you at far and mid range, but up close they would blast away regardless of any civilians caught in fire. This mechanic should force players to develop a different tactic for dealing with the alerted guards. But if you complete the whole mission without being detected the reward would be doubled, considering the mission is harder than meta shooter missions the default reward would be quite high, and having that number doubled would be a great motivation for stealth.

5) Conclusion - While it seems like a hard task and it is quite impossible to create anything like that even in near future, it would greatly improve the variety of gameplay and player experience of the warframe. It would bring more reason to co op and clans, strategy and planning as well as evrybodys favorite stealth. Oh and of cource the idea of civilian map opens up possibilities for lore expansion.

No long guns or heavy melee weapons, methinks. Helps keep the realism.

In addition, for Assassination to be effective, there would have to be new targets, ones that aren't so bulletspongey.

Finally, wouldn't the civilians right next to you notice the Warframe you're wearing? I think, instead of a cloak, you get to pick one ability and have no Warframe (so no shields or armor). You get one ability due to a limited amount of inner Warframe parts being able to be used while in civilian clothes.

It would certainly open up some interesting gameplay.

What with more silent weapons planned (I believe), this could become quite a fun solo game. (Group play in this way would be too rife with the potential for that one special kind of idiot).

I could also open up possibilities for a new factor.
You wouldn't NEED one, but Corpus is primarily robots, and could probably spot you easily (Which could be a feature) and Grineer would make for an interesting target.
