hi guys! ive been playing the game for a few days and im loving it, so ive thought of something id like to know;

would it be useful/fun to have a warframe based on 4~5 passive skills and 1 active?

what i have in mind are passives that work like mods.

A firing rate; increases firing rate (at level 3 it will increase firing rate by 1 - effectivly doubling firing rate)

(1) increases firing rate by 0.20,

(2) increases firing rate by 0.50

(3) increases firing rate by 1.00

C damage amp alpha; increases the effectiveness of all damage mods (includes element mods, straight damage mods, and crit damage mods)

(1) increases the effectiveness by 30%

(2) icnreases the effectiveness by 60%

(3) increases the effectiveness by 150%

B critical eye; increases the crit rate

(1) increase crit rate by 10%

(2) increase crit rate by 20%

(3) increase crit rate by 50%

C damage dampener beta; decreases all damage done to you

(1) damage recieved lowered by 5%

(2) damage recieved lowered by 10%

(3) damage recieved lowered by 30%

A muscle modification; increases speed (normal speed and sprint speed)

(1) 50%

(2) 75%

(3) 100%

B culmniation of power; AoE attack

(1) 300 damage, 30 range

(2) 500 damage, 60 range

(3) 1000 damage, 120 range

could a warframe with skills like that be effective - and be worth spending money and time on?

A = basic skill

B = oroken reactor

C = third tier (no idea really, but theyre pretty OP and warframes all have four skills only.

this would be kind of dull... you'd rely solely on your guns and sword through whole mission it wouldnt add anything to the thematic or the game... fact is passives in general are a bad idea anyway since just " numbers " that do nothing what so ever... WoW figured this out and has made them all " back ground " noise for the most part. I think more devs should take a hint from them. Leveling up and getting a .3 damage increase is just not that thrilling...
