Farming Guide (For Old And New Players)

Question

I've been browsing for the "Players helping Players" section of the forums, seeing what it has to offer and/or what I have to offer to newer players. I've noticed one thing, however, and that is that there is no general farming thread for absolutely everything, which is disappointing. So, I decided to create a farming guide for anyone who is looking for absolutely ANYTHING really fast and rather efficiently (on the star chart), at least in terms of resources. Here it goes;

Fusion Cores:

Cyath, Eris

Fusion Core farming is one of those things where it is fairly hard to label a definite yes. Cyath, from personal experience, is very good. Having said that, If you do T4 Survival, you will be getting the absolute top tier in terms of Fusion cores. One time in a T4 Survival, which went for 40 minutes, I got 21 Rare 5 fusion cores. 21.

Credits:

Seimini, Ceres

It's a higher level, meaning that it might be hard for newer players, but having said that it is the infestation, aka easy kills. It is dark sector with a 18k reward, and a high XP gain. Only go to 5, and make sure you have a SpeedNova to spam absolutely as much MP as possible, and maybe Vauban so you don't get overloaded. If you want an easier time, Mesa and Exalibro are nice too. I was getting about 350 k an hour, which does not include selling mods. It is definitely the best credit farm in the game, with the exception being void capture missions. If you have a key, do a capture in the void, with a volt. That could net millions of credits an hour.

XP (not frames):

Draco, Ceres

Also a higher level, and everyone should know why this is great. If you don't, just go to the recruiting tab in WF. You'll see

Syndicate XP:

Draco, Ceres

Ya, you know.

XP (frames):

Kappa, Sedna

This is a weird one. It is a mobile defense mission, but ends with a sort of time defense. It nets pretty huge rewards, and I can usually max out a frame here in around an hour to two hours. It is also a lower-level location, so going into this with a level 1 frame (and a good weapon) isn't unbearable. Having said that, where you go is also pretty dependent on your frame. For example, using Loki, Ash, or any frame where melee is your primary utility, you should go to Akkad, Eris. If you are using a rifle, then I heavily suggest traveling to Sechura, Pluto. Both of those locations are dark sector defenses with infestation as the enemy, and high level. This means that having at least one SpeedNova is nice, as well as Vauban. Also, they net you extra XP for kills with a rifle or melee. Also, check out Xini, Eris, which is about as good (maybe better, but has harder enemies).

Alloy Plates:

Draco, Ceres

I know I've already mentioned this location a few times, but it is just so good. Literally, soooo good. I had spend a boatload of Alloy plates and had been left with around 50 alloy plates, which isn't much. In a matter of minutes on Draco, I had a couple hundred alloy plates, as well as a ton of XP, etc. Try checking out Salad V on Themisto, Jupiter as well. If you have any void mission, then definitely head to the void as well.

Argon Crystals:

T4 Survival

Ya ya ya I know. "But Hools, this post says only in the Star chart! Y U SO CLEM?" or "What the HEK (get what I did there XD) Hools, T4 Survivals are ULTRA hard to get now that faction's don't sell them. Y U SO CLEM?" But here's the truth. You don't really need Argon Crystals until the higher level / end-game stuff. Plus, it only lasts for 24 hours, meaning you have to go in SPECIFICALLY looking for Argon Crystals. Since this resources is so limited, it's hard for me to recommend anything but T4 survival or defense because even T3 void missions don't net you HALF the Argon as T4.

Circuits:

Draco, Ceres

Again. I know, right?

Control Module:

Larzac, Europa

In the infinitely tiny chance that you run out of Control Module, head over to Larzac, Europa. It nets a good amount, and with the addition of positive resources from the Dark Sector, it's really nice. If you can check out the void too (especially capture missions).

Detonite Ampule:

Draco, Ceres

Tired of hearing it yet?

Fieldron Sample:

Io, Jupiter

This place is great for farming Fieldron samples just because of the high influx of enemies attacking a single location. I HIGHLY recommend Io for Fieldron Samples as well as Neural Sensors because this is by far the best location to farm them.

Ferrite:

Appolodorus, Mercury

This is a really easy run, which will get you quite a lot of ferrite. Even the dark sectors are only slightly more effective, but this run is soo dang easy its not worth going anywhere else.

Gallium:

Assur, Uranus

This survival mission throws infested at you for EVER. You get quite a lot of Gallium in a short time.

Morphics:

Heracon, Pluto

This place has a crazy +35% resource drop, meaning that it is just insane for Morphics. You get a lot in a fairly short period of time. I've never actually run out of morphics, but have heard that this place is the place to go.

Mutagen Sample:

Xini, Eris

Back when I was crafting the Ichor's (and later Djinn) Xini came in as a god-send. It took little to no effort and I was collecting quite a lot of Mutagen Samples. It's been a while since I needed to farm Mutagen Samples, but I assume Xini is as good as ever.

Nano Spores:

Xini, Eris

Xini will net a solid amount of Nano spores every run, and I CAN'T recommend any other location for this.

Neural Sensor:

Io, Jupiter

This is a corpus defense, but doesn't require much of anything to do. Stay to round 20, and by then I was getting about 5 (average) neural sensor, which is really really good. A good second, if you are looking for an easier time, is Sinai, Jupiter.

Neurodes:

Xini, Eris

For experienced Tenno, this place used to be the haven for farming all things awesome. To be honest, it is really good at farming all the resources available on Eris, and you could argue that it is the best for those items. It also should have been closer to the top of the XP farm, but because the dark sector's offer so much extra XP for killing with a certain weapon type, I found going to those places was only slightly better. Also, Lephantis is very good for collecting Neurodes.

Orokin Cell:

Draco, Ceres

Up until about two weeks ago, I thought that ODA was a good place to farm cells. Then, I started farming Draco A LOT and realized I was netting about 4 cells every run, which is ridonculous. Kiste, Ceres has also been a fairly good location for cells. If you have the key, however, head over to Orokin Derilect Assassination, and kill Lephantis.

Oxium

Cerberus, Pluto

On Cerberus, I was netting around 400 Oxium a game, with a max at 550, which is really good in terms of Oxium per second

Rubedo:

Amarna, Sedna

Every once in a blue moon, I run out of Rubedo. When I do, I head over to Amarna for around twenty minutes, which will jumpstart my Rubedo collection again for another 6 months

Salvage:

Amarna, Sedna

Same thing applies to salvage as Rubedo... except, well, I never run out of salvage. If it comes to it, check out Cobb Salad V on Themisto, Jupiter.

Plastids:

Akkad, Eris

This dark sector location is GREAT for farming Plastids. Xini is just about as good, and is all about preference

Polymer Bundles:

Titania, Uranus

So I was building a few weapons again, for mastery, and I did end up running out of Polymer Bundles. Needing to farm them, I went to Boetheus, Mercury, which used to be pretty good and excesivelly easy. Only netting about 50-60 a run, I went to other places. From there, I discovered Titania. Run through this mission, open up any boxes on your way, and youll net around 200 for a run that takes less time. Great for Polymer Bundles.

Tellurium:

Galilea, Jupiter

If you are farming for Itzal parts (or any other Archwing that comes in the future), then you are going to need Tellurium. Since the Itzal needs 4 to complete, you may need to farm for it for a while. On running this mission, I received about 1 tellurium per mission, which was significantly more than any other mission.

So, to sum this up, there is a location that will net you abundant amounts of just about everything without a boatload of effort. Remember that most of these are infested defenses, so things like SpeedNova, Vauban, etc. will be great utility. Don't forget that when it comes to XP, your final XP is shared around everything you have equipped, so If you are only trying to upgrade one thing, maybe don't equip a sentinel, or a secondary, etc. If I am missing anything, ask and I will edit to include farming for that. Thanks!

When it comes to Morphics, I tried quite a few runs on the listed node and always ended up with 1-3 in 15 waves. Then the difficulty gets a bit to high and becomes not worth it so have to reset, mainly because a ton of glowing infested start spawning.

I'm still pretty new to the game so I'm not sure if there was some reason people chose that location, or always choose the dark sectors. So maybe I am missing something there.

However, if you are aiming for just pure quick and easy Morphics, the best place to go hands down is Arcadia, Mars. After trying tons of different nodes, I've found this is not only the easiest, but the fastest. It's a survival type, and end up with around 15 on average in a 15-20 minute game. They are extremely low level, and with a single Greedy Mag with no strength mods, the pull 1 shots most mobs up to 15 minutes.

It can be picky though, when doing Arcadia you want to find a room that is some what big with tons of doors leading in. You can usually find them in the mid area of the map. Find a corner or a dead end to tuck yourself in, and just spam pull. You will know if the spot is good when you can easily maintain life support at 100%. Sit there for 15-20 minutes spamming pull, and your good, should net yourself around 15 Morphics.

Time to talk Neurodes. The screenshot in the spoiler is in a game that was just under an hour (50 minutes or so), on a low level node (Cambria, Earth), using a booster. Still 25 Neurodes in an hour is pretty good in my opinion.

You are going to want a team here consisting of a Greedy Mag, Nekros, a Buffer, and whatever else you want.

It is very important that you get 4 players. You will get almost no loot otherwise, I am unsure of why it works this way, maybe some sort of multiplier for amount of players in a game? Not sure but it very clearly effects the drop rates.

Your Nekros and Greedy Mag need max range. Your Greedy Mag needs max efficiency and some basic strength like intensify. Do what you can with strength, but the efficiency and range are highest priority. Buffer is self explanatory.

Method is pretty simple to follow. When you start off play the objective like normal until you find a spot on the map that has a really good flow of enemies. It's important that your group stay stacked at pretty much all times so it doesn't cramp a spawn point. Once you find a spot that's good, ignore the objective from that point on, hold down the spot with your team.

The Greedy Mag will be able to kill everything no problem until they get to about level 10-15. In all honesty, your buffer and whatever your 4th slot is, could pretty much afk the first 20-30 minutes of this farm. Once the Mag starts slowing down in kills, it's time for your buffer to start keeping that buff up.

That's pretty much it. Highlighted stuff for people that skim read. Enjoy.

Just personal opinion, 2 nekroses,+ buffer would be great. other than that, a speed nova is the best buffer i could think in this map

This doesn't seem to be in the programmed RNG or something like that, but in my experience, the higher the level of enemy, the better the resource drop

i suggest you add akkad in eris to credit farm, pretty same amount of credit, thicker pod, and you could do it with just tonkor no forma

stephano - uranus

best polymer/plastids in the game

Orokin derelict defence

best nano spores/neurodes in the game

both of these places in terms of "farming" require a nekros.

In terms of credits

t2-4 ext

t2-4 caps

dark sectors for credits is extremely bad advice.

23000 credits in 5ish minutes is bad advice?

Edit: Raptor no longer drops sensors as of U17 :(

I found a really good place to farm neural sensors. The Raptor (Europa) has always dropped at least 1 sensor for me, usually 2 and the run takes very little time. I personally can kill the Raptor solo faster than I can kill Salad V with a public team, and he drops sensors much more often than Salad V.

Right, anybody got good advice for getting Oxium, PBundles, Circuits, Gallium, and Tellurium as efficiently as possible? Our Clan's been neglecting recent research and I think I'm the only one who's been making regular donations in these resources (So. Much. Oxium. So. Many. PBundles.), but we're oversized for our active members.

I didn't either until I was one of the only people to be contributing to Clan Research in an over-sized Clan.

I know that PBs and Circuits both drop on Venus, but even with the booster they are still dropping at piss all for numbers. Would it be wiser to farm them individually from different planets where they have better yields or keep doing Venus Excavations where I can farm both at once?

I can fold the PB farming into the Gallium/Tellurium farming on Uranus, but Circuits will be a headache elsewhere.

The best credit farm as far as I know is Sechura (Dark Sector Defense) on Pluto. It gives 23k credits per 5 waves. Please note that invasions do change the missions, as factions take over and lose control of planets. DE should update the possible resources after a faction takes over a planet.

Just as a heads up to everyone, this is no longer entirely valuable. Some of these are still okay, but a lot of them have changed. Thank you, and I will be making another post soon.

Will you drop a link here when you do? Would make it easier to find!

Even if some are no longer the PRIME farming spots considering almost 101% of the sectors are normally empty of Tennos unless its between 3pm and 9pm in the states.  If you're not in Recruit looking for a raid, OD, void, boss, warframe bp, or draco farm good luck getting a PUG to do any thing efficiently or to not be greeted with "X sector is trash for Y purpose Noob host hue hue jajaja lul".

Apparently gamers from The League of Lolipops are migrating here. RIP community.
