Archwing Interception Stuttering/locking

So, since this past major update, whenever I play Archwing I have improved frame rate! That's great. I have gone from 90FPS average to 120FPS average. That's amazing right?

Except that now I'm having huge stuttering and locking up whenever I do Archwing Interception missions which is keeping me from holding a connection to the host. I will hold 120+ FPS on average until all of a sudden, bam it drops to 50 then 20 then 10 and my whole computer locks up because Warframe is asking for huge resource allocations, both regular memory and VRAM. I have no other issues in Archwing or regular matchmaking, nor is it my computer or settings. All setting levels have still resulted in stuttering/lockup in Archwing Interception missions.
