Key Input Responses & Action Queuing After Interrupts

The game doesn't detect attack inputs until certain actions are resolved, such as standard melee attacks, or most notably stuns. Essentially this means that players cannot recover from a stun or melee attack and come out shooting, or queue up charge attacks immediately after a standard melee attack.

Fixing this issue will greatly free up the flow of combat, and give melee players more options than spamming one type of attack all the time.

Additionally, if a player inputs a movement action (jump, melee, crouch, roll) when hit with an interrupt (stun, Runner explosion, Crawler vomit) that action will immediately be executed once the interrupt resolves.
