Second, I think we should be able to start the next one while the extraction timer is counting down. Trouble is if it is lore on a specific unit we hunt. Then it would be unlikely we ever get more information on bosses, i.e. key players in the universe, since we will never hunt those. not like a random Sargas is hiding on missions.
