Low Fps And Sporadic Freezing On Good Pc

Hey guys, I recently downloaded the game onto a new computer and ever since doing so have experienced low fps and small freezes in game.

My frame rate will stay around 50- 55fps when not in battle and drops to 40 during small battles and ranges from 20 -30 in large fights in the void. I also experience small freezes lasting only 1-2 seconds at random points while in the ship, loading and in missions.

These frame rates happen with all settings high and anti-aliasing off. Changing settings makes little to no difference to the fps.

As far as I know my computer should be able to play this game at max settings without any problems.

 

My specs are:

 

CPU: AMD Athlon x4 860k clocked at 4.3Ghz, all cores unparked.

GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X

RAM: 8gb

OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit

 

The temperature on my GPU never rises above 50C while playing, and the graphics driver I am using and have used since getting the game is the AMD Omega 14.12 beta driver.

 

I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix these issues, why they are happening or if anyone else is getting any similar problems.

i red somewhere that the omega driver is the suspect try installing the previous one

Yeah, basically what Kostadin said. It was recommended to roll back to prev. driver.
