rohver
This has been happening recently. Every time I run warframe, it will freeze, sometimes showing a stripped screen (see image : http://i.imgur.com/mSNUSBY.jpg ) and freezing my computer. I have to manually reboot windows when this happens, bringing up the task manager is no use. Specs : i5-3550, 3.3 Ghz AMD R9 280X (14.12 Omega) Win 8.1 x64 8 GB ram @ 1600 Mhz 1920x1080 resSandisk 256 GB SSD Borderless fullscreen Run steam client I have tried disabling DX10 and 11, disabling multi threaded rendering but no use. I tried 15.4 beta drivers, still the same issues. Edited April 23, 2015 by Glazy
Endrance
Try disabling most of the graphic features from the launcher. There might be one conflicting, so turning all off and trying one by one should solve. Probably you have no problem with other games, nevertheless, have you experienced it with another game? Also, you run Warframe by client or by Steam?
rohver
I run the steam version. I don't have problem with other games. Been playing MKX meanwhile, hoping this gets fixed soon.
s3b4st13n
The steam version still has a launcher. It's the screen with Chroma throwing up all over the place. In the top right is a cog/gear icon, click on it and disable settings in there. Pay attention to the fullscreen option, turn it off (uncheck it). [DE]Xander
The Gray Screen of Death can be a tricky thing; if you're comfortable doing it, try underclocking your Ram down to 1333Mhz.
rohver
I don't know how to underclock
rohver
Problem solved. My card was overheating. So was my entire case. Dusting did work wonders.
