A game that didn't sell that well to earn a GOTY edition is getting a GOTY edition. I'll hold back my personal opinions on Lords of the Fallen because...I could go on about this game. Not a lot of good things to say. In other news, John Carsuc- I mean Carmack will be keynoting the Oculus VR conference this year. Not that interesting, but I may as well fill the post by saying I HATE JOHN CARMACK AND I AM SO HAPPY HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE NEW DOOM THAT IS COMING OUT. And finally, we got this one: http://www.pcgamer.com/48gb-of-star-citizen-assets-leaked/ I've covered a lot on Star Citizen. At first I hated it, but now I'm keeping my eye on it. We'll see where it goes before I invest any money into it. Also at the time that the article was posted (3 hours ago), Star Citizen has gotten over 8 million dollars in donations. Welp...that's something all right. In the article it states this: "Star Citizen has seen a sizeable leak of unreleased resources to a few members of the public, after a community manager posted a partial URL in a screenshot. Someone guessed the rest and... well. Around 48GB of work in progress assets have been acquired by — at least — a couple of people outside Cloud Imperium Games, and though the guessed link has now been shut down by CIG, the assets are Out There." BRA- *calms down* Basically, he stated that story in videogames are like this: "Story in video games is like a story in a porno, it's expected but not important" What he said disgusted me. Because as a person who values stories in games, I find what he said to just be plain stupidity. Imagine if a game like Persona or hell, even Witcher 3 had little to no story whatsoever. People would just be going around killing things without any real purpose for doing so. Story in games can make a game brilliant. But Carmack disagrees, saying that it's on the same level as pornos. All the artsty ones are Italian or French (and don't understand em). But not German - those try to look artistic, but we all know better. Don't trust German! (Btw I don't understand it either.) ... One you're talking about has way too simple story and a plot hole: he didn't fix her car before or after. And if there is something I can't tolerate in my porn, it's plot holes.
