If you don't believe me, then try playing Excavation and seeing how often Lotus blocks your vision of the status of the Excavators. I play on a intense pace in Cambria (since I don't yet have a Neurode BP), so I really need to see what's going on with the 2 or 3 excavators I have active. They sure are annoying, but there's plenty of leftover real-estate in that image to move the weapon stats to the left and out from under Simaris.
