SmokeBraid
I do not feel that the Corpus have enough melee units. But instead of making one entirely from scratch, one can be designed around an already existing enemy, the moa. Take away a moa's gun, replace it with a stronger shield generator so that it can survive getting into melee range, and have it kick opponents until they're dead, or at least flushed out so other Corpus can shoot at them. Special Attacks can include slide tackles or leg sweeps for knockdowns, stomps on downed opponents, and even a flying kick if the animation department is feeling bored. :) Even if these ideas aren't enough to make a whole new enemy around, they can still be used to add depth to existing enemies. A railgun moa that kicks you in the chest to give itself some personal space, or a shockwave moa that stomps on you to try to finish you off after you've been knocked down. Feedback, both good and bad, would be appreciated.
