Need More Map Layout Pieces

since the game seems to be procedurally generated, (ie randomized)

  

i think there should be a focus on adding in new room segments to the mix, 

 

even after playing the game for about Two days,

you really get the feeling that you are playing the same map over and over, 

because there isnt enough diversity in the chunks of room that the game draws from its resource pool 

 

even just adding in a bunch of differently shaped rooms and whatnot with colors and/or environmental effects to the pool of map data,

i think would go a long way in making the game feel less repetitive.

 

yes, mainly its shoot shoot shoot hack hack run run run   wash rinse and repeat 

 

 

on a side note , 

in the rescue missions,

why is the prisoner locked in a room with a handgun ?

 

on a side side note,

does every console in the ship have a big red button that anyone can run up and press that says were under attack?

 

because when you get spotted. someone always hightails it directly to a console, 

but INSTANTLY it activates,

like that npc never had to log into the console, or even enter a security code

(hey there is a fire, or hey were getting shot at)

 

just sayin, i think there should at least be a delay of a second or two for the guy to slide an id badge or something

in order to initiate a ship wide lockdown,

its like the old firealarms at school,  you at least had to break the glass before yankin on em

 

 

PS,  the game needs more draw distance.

2 gb gpu memory is basically standard now, 

and ive seen mosters out there with 6gb

 

i really hate watching the infested bits on the map pop in and pop out as i walk back and forward  

i think that vid is due to the range of your flashlight, 

but its sorta the same idea
