Hogfather
What if when Nyx pops absorb it suggests to her sentinel to attack her and add to the damage output? It would solve the Shade cloaking effect when absorb is used and make your sentinel a little more useful?
Kynian
........ +1. I doubt it'll be done, but I do like the idea. Should be a bit hard/complicated/bothersome to implement since it's very specific. Well, +1 nonetheless.
Veidgrim
They could make a mod for this specific to the new "death cube" maybe or just for all sentinals...
SciKnight
Shade is almost indispensable when playing the ever-so-squishy Nyx. However, I often opt to use Wrym just because shade screws up the absorb. BUT shade is still perfectly viable with absorb if you are playing defense. The only time I ever really use absorb anyways is to sit on the po and soak all the damage and kill all the attackers that got too close. When I used Wrym, the corpus guys would still target me and throw grenages and crap which would kill me if they went off right after the bubble went down. If you leave shade the way it is (and I think they will) then players can make the choice by just using one sentinel or the other. Honestly, Chaos is far more efficient than absorb anyway. Used in conjunction with MC, you shouldn't ever need absorb in a normal mission and should always use Shade. If absorb were more useful, maybe something would need to be done here.
