Aretak Posted May 20, 2013 Share Posted May 20, 2013 So my idea is basically that once you hit r30 you open up a 'specialisation slot' or whatever that requires half affinity and half fusion (though does have any specific drops for it) to level up. There are 3 variants that focus on general Frame play and alter how skills behave. What this slot does is provide a bonus to playing a bit more tactically and open up synergy for high level content. Here are some examples: Trinity: .General- Killing an enemy provides power and health to nearby allies (can only occur once every 5 secs) .Spec 1- Well casting time is reduced and killing an enemy with the effects of a well provides brief protection for allies. .Spec 2- Gain protection whilst using abilities, at the end of Link all nearby enemies are knocked down. Excalibur: .General- Killing an enemy gives a few seconds of increased speed and damage, stacks up to 10 seconds. .Spec 1- You can use Superjump and blind whilst knocked down, using an ability will stagger enemies and cause them to take extra damage for 10 seconds. (Can only occur once every 20secs) .Spec 2- Dashing again immediately after use deals increased damage and increased melee damage for a few seconds after. Javelin blinds those just outside its radius. Frost: .General- When shields are depleted or knocked down nearby enemies are staggered and frozen for a few seconds. Knock down time is reduced .Spec 1- Freeze and Ice Wave ignore a % of enemies freeze defense. Freeze's frozen duration is halved but the enemy takes increased damage over that time. Spec 2- Enemies in Snow Globe take additional damage and when it ends shatters to deal damage to any within. Avalanche restores shields to all nearby allies. Mag: .General- Decreased shield regen delay for all nearby allies (including herself), the first knockdown every 20 seconds is nullified for all in range too. .Spec 1-Enemies too close will instead be shunted by Pull with a reduced cast time, staggering and damaging any foes they hit. Crush ignores shields and armour values. Spec 2- Shield Polarise affects up to 3 enemies and restores allies shields within range (total amount drained/4). Bullet Attractor causes enemies to take increased damage. Banshee: .General- Gain protecting whilst using abilities and increased range for them. Speed buff for a few seconds after casting. .Spec 1- Sonic Boom and Sound Quake cause enemies to explode on death, those that survive take increased damage a few seconds after. Gain protection when using Quake. Spec 2- Increased duration and range of Sonar, enemies killed under it's effects give power to allies. Silence causes nearby enemies to be staggered and can be used whilst knocked down. Saryn: .General- The first attack enemies make on Saryn in melee staggers and poisons them (refreshes when poison wears off), killing enemies in their weak spot causes them to explode and poison nearby enemies. .Spec 1- Venom deals double damage to shields and a bonus against armoured targets. Contagion also receives a bonus vs armored targets and enemies killed with melee under its effects restore health for Saryn. .Spec 2- Molt explodes when destroyed (not at the end of duration), dealing poison damage to nearby enemies and blinds them. Miasma grants protection to nearby allies after use (and during activation if they nerf it's invulnerability). [Notes: I haven't played the others enough to do them justice. I can also think of names for most I just wanted to make the variants clear. Anything vague is down to exact numbers changing on level and cooldowns are in place to prevent abuse] .
