-Mandachordian-Tenno- Posted June 28, 2015 Share Posted June 28, 2015 yes, imagine theman expanding/contracting celestially dimensionally soapy bubble. among a sea of infinite bubbles(other timelines)now imagine you have a time machine that you can use to travel before and after a set expansion or contraction of a bubble(metaphor for time travelling "future and present and past") that so that you can see yourself before you go into the time machine and travelling to that moment.but what if the time machine doesn't really move forwards, backwards in time but a set bubble blower, and it attunes to that same exact size and shape of the "Timeline" you wanted to travel and activating it will make a NEW bubble like that, and now you are in that new bubble. and the bubble you came from will not cease to exist just by traveling to a new bubble, it will go on with its predetermined fate(safe to say its moving forward in time, you are gone from it, your friends/family will miss you) but you on the other hand have met yourself in that new bubble and that "you" introduces you to "your" friends and family knowing full well that they miss you in another timeline/bubble.what if this theory can be the counter to the popular grandfather paradox?everytime you time travel you make a new timeline. and on and on for eternity, you can go back but going back will also alter time and thus how can you be so sure you've returned to your original timeline?this also raises many questions as well, i will ponder these questions and try to think of an answer. -Mandachordian-Tenno- Posted June 29, 2015 Author Share Posted June 29, 2015 actually, i found a flaw in this,but then its still time altering::you can get the your original bubbles size and shape a little further down the line and copy it to the time machine and traveling back to your new copy of the original's timeline but further away, maybe your friends/family missing you will realize that you just went for a jog or something, BUT, the real real original bubble will never get you back.
