Ithloniel
Frequently, when a new change is brought to warframe that changes drop rates, reward tables, or limits our access to greater resource gain, a lot of players get upset. The common sentiment is as follows: something is being taken away, making the game "more grindy", and lowering our in-game productivity per time spent. While this sentiment is fair, it is worth considering how overabundant access to resources, rewards, and enemy-to-player imbalances will affect the game's future. Often, the question we forget is "what is best for the game" instead of "what is best for us". While the two may seem the same thing, it is more complex than that. These ideals can be opposed. Changes to the overall status quo in Warframe can help or hinder us as players, but what is important is how it affects the health of the game. Don't let changes you initially dislike dissuade you from appreciating what they might bring to the game. Still, that doesn't mean you shouldn't voice your concerns. Take the time to consider the motivation behind your concerns, and how best to address them. DE puts a lot of work in, and listens to us as we list our woes and praises alike. lightini
There is one good example for this case: The loki prime systems and the bo handle. One is rare and found in t4 def, while the other is in t4 extermination. until this point nothing too disturbing, but when the bo handle is being used for the arbiter of hexis sacrifice, it become a whole other dimension. (not to mention for veteran players we could buy t4 key to syndicate with reputation, not anymore) It means players must collect at least 2 bo handle for their carrier in warframe, one for syndicate and one for themselves. and here the wall grind is still present, was present for hydroid with vay hek keys, and is still present for mesa. So we need to grind t4 exterminate (which is tedious and rare to boot) and moreover grind it for the super rare bo handle (you have luck or you don't) The difference with loki prime systems is that in the latter the rare system is justified, one of the most powerful warframe in existence. while bo is a good weapons for mobility, but easily replaced by tipedo in every aspect. (impact being very weak compared to slash) So system loki prime good grind, and bo handle bad grind
