Help A Returning Player Out? How To Find Sentients?

So yeah I haven't play this game in like half a year. I see we have a few new things but what I really want to know is where to start the new mission. People keep telling go scan some blue thing, WHAT @(*()$ blue thing???? Be clear for crying out loud. I have no idea what the hell is the blue drone or something I'm suppose to scan, what it look like, where to find it and how offend it show up. Also I heard that the sentient are now here for us to fight. I been playing 2 days and haven't found one. I hear they just show up in mission but how offend? as much as stalker? more? is there certain level it would show up? how many of them show up? I need answer women!!!! 0_0

Its all up to RNG.. but on a serious note go do Tyl Regor sentients spawn a lot there.
