The director of FFXV (who I have mistakenly said was Tetsuya Nomura, but the actual director is Hajime Tabata) has stated the FFXV will be getting a simultaneous worldwide release, meaning that there wont be a long wait for localization of the game (which is something that Japanese games go through before going anywhere out of Japan).

I'm happy to hear this, FFXV is shaping up to be a wonderful game (So as long as you aren't some rabid fanboy of the old games).

Now for the big one, many have complained that in Human Revolution, you are essentially forced into fighting a boss with little options in how you kill them (this was somewhat resolved in the Directors Cut edition of the game).

And when the sequel (which is still a prequel to the first Deus Ex game) was announced, the director stated that there will be non-lethal options when it came to dealing with bosses.

However, this has changed to that some bosses will have to be taken care of lethally as opposed to having them all be negotiable.

The devs have stated:

But Fortier said that the new game will in fact contain "classic boss fights" that players won't be able to dodge. "There are verbal debates with certain NPCs, [and] classic boss fights are another thing. They're two separate things," he explained. "Having said that, in a classic boss fight we will support combat, stealth, lethal, non-lethal, in ways we didn't necessarily manage in Human Revolution."

"In the classical sense of the boss fight, it's not a debate, it's not an opportunity to have the same mechanic, the debate mechanic that we have using your CASIE [Computer Assisted Social Interaction Enhancer] augmentation to read the body language and the heartbeat and all of that—that's not happening in a classic boss fight," Fortier said. "Having said that, if you've equipped yourself in a particular way then maybe specific solutions are offered to you and that will result in some dialogue of some sort, but it's not debate gameplay."

The way that has been explained basically allows you take care of a boss fight in specific ways that are best fitted to your build (such as a Stealth build can take care of the boss stealthily).

I like this change, primarily because in real life, there are certain situations you can't debate your way out of.

Also, for those of you own GTAV on PC, consider yourself warned if you plan on using this mod "FiveM". The creators were banned for making it, but no news of the users of the mods being banned.

You were correct in your original statement that Tetsuya Nomura was the director of FF XV, but after spending the last 13 years on making it, scrapping it, remaking it again, his bosses at Square booted him from the project when he got the most recent framework for the game down, making him focus on Kingdom Hearts 3.

The more you know~
