Everyone
I have created this guide to help anyone who wants to read all the flavour and background text in warframe, but can't be bothered to painstakingly find and translate every wall and sign. That is why I will painstakingly find and translate every wall and sign, then annotate them with (hopefully) easy to read translations. Hopefully, this thread can be used as a reference for any in-game text, without having to trawl through the depths of the forums to find a little snippet you were sure was there last week. :) To find translations easily, every annotated picture has been organised by tileset, then sub-organised as appropriate. Key: TRANSLATED TEXT (i-n-d-i-v-i-d-u-a-l l-e-t-t-e-r-s f-r-o-m t-r-a-n-s-l-a-t-i-o-n) [whether the text is oriented oddly] RELAYS LISET HANGAR The first place any tenno sees when entering relays, there are a variety of flags all bearing the same stylised insignias and symbols. MAIN HALL Dominated by a huge rhino statue, this spacious hall includes several welcome signs, as well as a few reminders about the tenno's place in the origin system (at least in their eyes). ARBITERS OF HEXIS & CEPHALON SUDA Nothing. No text. Zilch. >:( STEEL MERIDIAN These grineer deserters fight to protect what's left of the colonies from grineer and corpus interests, and have set up shop in the relays to hire tenno mercenaries... er... find those with similar ideals. Somehow they managed to smuggle a massive auto-cannon through customs, wait is that a NUCLEAR REACTOR in the back?!? RED VEIL The edgiest anarchists this side of the outer terminus, these stalker-wannabes are well known for their casual approach to torture and infestation containment. PERRIN SEQUENCE A pacifistic offshoot of the corpus (hit-MOAs notwithstanding), the perrin sequence's offices in the relay are littered with cold mugs of liquid, computer panels, and the feeling that staring at stock market prices all day aren't going to help your eyesight. NEW LOKA Well known for their desire to return humanity to its former glory on Earth, new loka are the only syndicate to have repurposed an orokin water cooler to display a hologram of Earth, and seem to hold yoga classes for their members at all hours. MISSION CONTROL A place where Tenno can organise their next mission, or change into a bright pink rhino to show off with. CONCLAVE The father figure to many Tenno, Teshin's mountain-in-a-hall is littered with huge slabs of rock, some of which with references to the Hindu scripture Bhagavad Gita... CEPHALON SIMARIS The cephalon that accidentally deleted its courtesy protocols and consequently does not recognise 'personal space', Simaris is devoted to collecting data on interesting and unusual organic lifeforms, motivating the Tenno to delay their killing spree with promises of history lessons barely related to the synthesis target. DARVO'S MARKET Everyone's favourite corpus pirate, Darvo specialises in 'acquiring' in bulk what Tenno love the most: weapons. Lots and lots of weapons. SUPER SPECIAL SECRET PLACES You didn't see these rooms. And I wasn't here. Ignore the endless void outside the doors. GRINEER GALLEON The Grineer Empire's main attack force and presence in the solar system, galleons are mostly created in the great shipyards on Ceres, then travel to other places either under their own power or via the solar rails. Galleons are often used to harass civilians and corpus, reinforce threatened asteroids, or enforce grineer supremacy in controlled areas. DEFENSE More to be added soon! If you could provide photos or locations of more text that have been missed out, feedback, or any corrections of translations, it would be greatly appreciated. :) I hope you found this thread informative and/or helpful! I was thinking of doing all the cosmetic items (and perhaps all weapons) as soon as I finish the relays.
