Electrical
I have been getting terrible lag in some places of the map like with big fights or area. It sometimes dips down to about 10 fps where it's just a slideshow. I tried changing all the settings to low and it still doesn't make a difference. My cpu and gpu usage is always below 50% which feels a bit weird. Am I the only getting this type of lag? My specs amd athlon x4 620 2.6ghz nvidia gtx
UkyoSonoda
Are you the host of the game when this happens? The game is run peer to peer so if the host has a lesser machine and has to suddenly process a large number of extra enemies, projectiles, etc the game will start bogging down from my observations because the game server itself is lagging due to resource usage. Also a couple times I've had to restart my computer due to something causing a memory leak in game.
Electrical
It happens regardless if I am host or not. Also I forgot to mention that I get an average of 35ish fps. I suspect that the game is using mimal resources on my pc due to the fact that my pc never gets on full load while playing this game.
Koxu
Ladt night it was the same for me. Host or not even the entire squad was complaining
jnka
It happens to me fairly regularly. Usually when windows and or a lot of particles are involved. It tends to create fairly huge CPU spikes.
PancakePie
Try turning off DOF/motion blur in your game settings. I've noticed it to be a HUGE resource hog when things get hectic. There also seems to be some kind of issue with it continueing to add more and more blur to everything the longer you're in a mission/crazy action which also seems to slow down the game.
