(XBOX)L337 Murd3r Posted October 17, 2015 Share Posted October 17, 2015 when my batteries die it always says reconnect controller but when i do the game is unresponsive and i have to restart the game to continue playing has anyone else had these problems? (XBOX)RaffArundel Posted October 18, 2015 Share Posted October 18, 2015 It has been a very long time since I have seen the problem. I am assuming that the prompt with the A button shows up. If it doesn't, definitely open a Support ticket. If the prompt shows up, but upon turning on the new controller it doesn't work I recommend checking that your controller has been recently updated. You can plug it in to your XB1 with a USB cable and check under the Updates in Settings. If no update is available, the next time it happens you need to check the new controller has been assigned to you. This is under Settings -> Controller and you can select the controller you are using and assign it to your gamer tag. Again, if that doesn't help the link to Support is in the footer below.
