SolluxCaptorTA
Add progress bars to everything. It makes it so we can farm and be guaranteed to get what we want eventually, and gives us something to mark our progress, viewable in some subsection of the arsenal. --Full Explanation-- (Note: All numbers assume you have no random drops whatsoever) For Mods: Bar for mod drops, fills up after 100 kills, resets whenever you get a kill 100 kills=1 mod Bar for uncommon mods, fills up after collecting 10 common mods, resets whenever you get an uncommon mod 1100 kills=10 common+1 uncommon mod Bar for rare mods, fills up after collecting 10 uncommon mods, resets whenever you get a rare mod 11100 kills=100 common mods+10 uncommon mods+1 rare mod Bar for each individual common mod, fills up after 100 common mod drops, resets whenever you get that mod 11100 kills=100 common mods+10 uncommon mods+1 rare mod Every 100 kills after=random common mod you have not received yet Bar for each individual uncommon mod, fills up after collecting 10 uncommon mods, resets whenever you get that mod 11100 kills=100 common mods+10 uncommon mods+1 rare mod Every 1100 kills after=random uncommon mod you have not yet received Bar for each individual rare mod, fills up after collecting 10 rare mods, resets whenever you get that mod 11100 kills=100 common mods+10 uncommon mods+1 rare mod Every 11100 kills after=random rare mod you have not yet received Maximum possible kills to get every single mod at least once=2442000 kills However, due to random drops, you are far more likely to get everything significantly earlier. For BPs Bar for BP drop, fills up after killing a boss 10 times, resets whenever a BP is dropped (specific to each boss, so you cannot kill Vor 9 times to get a guaranteed Excalibur BP drop) 11 boss kills=BP Bar for each individual BP, fills up after 3 other BPs drop, resets upon getting that BP 33 boss kills=3 other BPs Every 11 boss kills after (for 22 kills)=BP you have not yet received Maximum possible kills to get a full set of Frame BPs=55 kills of one boss Random drops might make this go faster, but looking over the forums indicates maybe not in this case For Stalker Bar for appearance, fills up after killing any boss 10 times, resets whenever he appears (He will not appear in assassination missions. If the bar is full on an assassination mission, extra kills do not count towards another Stalker appearance) 10 boss kills+random other mission=1 Stalker fight Stalker BPs use the same system as boss BPs, so maximum possible kills to get a full Stalker set=550 boss kills+55 Stalker kills (605 total) For Void Bar for each individual component and BP, fills up after doing 3 Void missions, resets when receiving that component Suggested format: T1 drops Forma BP and Reaper gear, so max=6 T1 Void missions T2 drops Forma BP, Reaper gear and Latron Prime gear, so max=10 T2 Void Missions T3 drops Forma BP, Forma, Reaper Gear, Latron Prime gear, and Frost Prime gear, so max=15 T3 Void Missions TO do this, DE would have to make it so people in missions can receive different ending rewards. For Resources Bar for resource drop, fills up after 10 kills, resets when gaining resources 11 kills=1 resource drop Bar for each individual resource, fills up after 10 other drops, resets when gaining that resource 110 kills=10 resource drops Every 11 kills after (for 33 kills)=resource you have not yet recieved Maximum possible kills to get any one resource=143 kills --Explanation Over-- Thoughts, comments, etc. are all welcome. Shion963
IMHO this is fantastic when paired with the existing randomness and bars only reset once its requirement is finished instead of when its objective is gained. For example, picking up an uncommon mod would not reset the Uncommon progression bar, but it would count towards it because it counts as part of the "pickup 10 mods, get one uncommon mod". Then the random drop would actually help towards the progression i.e. getting a random module drop from 99th kill, and the 100th kill will drop the progress bar 'reward', thus adding two counts towards getting an uncommon. I hope that made sense, it's 5am and my head's kinda buzzing @-@)
SolluxCaptorTA
I don't think so. That would be a straight buff to the existing system instead of a fail safe to ensure you get stuff. I'd like to see that, Shion, but I'm trying to keep it as close to what DE has already had, just with a guarantee that enough farming will work.
