Rehtael7
My work will accomplish more than a thousand Tenno can hope to achieve. Grineer obedience is not simply genetic, I'm certain of it. The right words in the right ears can make all the difference. Do not interrupt my work, Tenno. You will see, I can make a difference. Tykar Tykar is a Hellion who has defected from the Grineer. Using his Hellion jetpack, he's taken to spreading anti-imperial messages wherever and whenever possible. Dutiful in personality, he aims to recruit other clones to his cause and overthrow the queens who he understands as the true oppressors that they are. His views of the Tenno are mixed. On one hand, they share a similar goal. On the other, the Tenno slaughter of all Grineer only serves to reinforce their loyalty to their queens. He understands that demonstratory assassinations of high-ranking, loyal Grineer is the only way to shake faith in the ranks. He himself has assassinated several commanders, posing their bodies into a bowwing position, taking their blood and writing on the floors or walls: "This is what our queens want of all of us" He makes use of his Hellion pack to deface large emblems and spread anti-queen messages. "Meaningless, worthless, pointless, useless, feeble, puny, blind, stupid, mindless, cowardly clones. Servants, fools, dogs, slaves." "Grown to be slaves." "Have you died for your queens today?" Appearance His armor has been painted white and black and he wears the Eviscerator hood. He carries a painted Vulkar for his occasional assassinations, but will typically be holding a modified Acrid which is filled with paint. Clones recruited to his cause wear similar markings and most are equipped with stolen Hellion packs as well. Leading up to his big debut, Tykar's graffiti can be found around various Ceres maps. On rare occasions, he may even be seen flying away from recent paintings beyond the reach of the player. Event [Voice of Heresy] [inbox recording] Lotus: Tenno, intercepted transmissions suggest that there is an outbreak of Grineer infighting on Ceres. Investigate. Spy on Ceres After accessing Vault A Lotus: This is irregular. These reports seem to be indicating that there is an outbreak of vandalism. Access the next vault, we need to know more to complete our understanding of the events here. After accessing Vault B Lotus: Wide-spread reports of vandalism across this and several other facilities. Defaced emblems, flags torn down, graffiti... Some of these reports are incomplete. Find another data vault. After accessing Vault C Lotus: Tenno, there seems to be a Grineer defector trying to create unrest in the Grineer ranks. If this report is correct, he is being held captive at another facility. This clone may be of use to us. Evacuate and prepare to retrieve him. Rescue on Ceres Lotus: Tenno, your target is a Grineer defector named Tykar. He is being held in one of the cells here and is awaiting execution. Save him. Upon reaching the holding cell Lotus: The alarms are already going? Tenno, what is happening? Tykar's bodyguard: The Tenno are here! (In Grineer) Tykar: Tenno! Do not interfere, I must not die here! My hard work cannot go to waste! Tykar is exiting his cell, escorted by three of his Hellion bodyguards. The wardens are alerted and attacking Tykar. Lotus: Tykar, my Tenno are here to assist you. They will escort you to safety. Tykar: The Lotus...? I do not have the luxury of refusing you at this time. Tykar and his followers are set to follow the Tenno to extraction. Only Tykar needs to survive. [inbox recording] Tykar: Tenno, you have my gratitude, but I request that you avoid my endeavors for the time being. I am Tykar, the vandal, the defacer, the heretic. My work requires discretion. I will continue to spread my messages across Grineer-controlled space and recruit clones. I have no intention of joining the Steel Meridian. Our goals are the same, but my cause is my own. I'm sending you a token of my thanks. If I want to contact you, I'll contact you. Until then, farewell.

Rehtael7
i like it. if the syndicates are ever expanded lore wise this could be a part of steel meridians' story. Thanks, though Tykar won't have much involvement with them other than stating that he doesn't care about the colonies. I'll update the thread when I can, I'm rather sick at the moment. It's a step below life-threatening and it's making it very hard to focus on anything creative. =/
