Rare Drops Useless After You Get It The First Time?

It seems pretty bad how there aren't any good uses for extremely rare items after you get them more than one time. Like 2 days ago i got Thunderbolt dropped, was excited, maxxed it out, and then today i had it drop again, and its like, well, nothing to do with it...

Use it to upgrade other mods with the same polarity. Or sell it. There.

there is nothing to do with the 2nd... its so wasted... its like having mage raiding gear on your warrior, but you can't equip it and show off how you have an incredibly rare but useless item for yourself.

I've started to make upgraded loadouts for multiple weapons and frames, so the extra rares just go on the new weapon. Can thunderbolt go on the stalker bow (dread, i think)?

Yes, I use it all the time. They fixed that in one of the hotfixes actually.

Yeah but it would end up as a burden instead where you would be upgrading two of the same mobs. not saying you have to upgrade, but lets face it, rank 0 mods don't provide boosts worth boasting about. Only in the case where you have a limited number of power costs available would you want a separately upgraded mod
