Failing Mission Question

Im wondering since i was recently playing a sabotage on Ceres. 

I finished the objective by destroying the generator and told me to extract but I stood around killing stuff for like a half and hour and it failed me.

 

So the question is does the game fail you if you don't extract in a certain amount of time?

In sabotage it just might. There is a possibility of getting "ship integrity compromised" message (yes, you'll get the same message on ceres, though it's on planets surface) and in this case game starts a 5 minute count down after which you fail caus you die with the ship.

If you're absolutely sure there was no such count down then report it, it might be a bug where it just simply doesn't appear.
