Warframe/razer Comms Error?

so, when I launch Warframe via Steam, about halfway through the update it says Razer Comms overlay is not compatible with Steam in Warframe. I've never gotten this issue before, and I have no idea what to do. I already checked my system to uninstall Razer comms, but it isn't there. any help?

ook after prowling around on the forums some, I think I found the issue: you have to go into task manager, and closing "therazergameingine.exe" fixes it, and you can still use Synapse. yay!

One player said going into warframe settings in launcher (small gears icon) disabling and re-enabling 64-bit mode fixes the issue. Didn't fix for me though. Tried re-launching updater in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Still same problem

I had 64 bit disabled, after enabling and disabling it still didn't fix it. tried restarting the update on both settings.

Strange, today's patch notes for 18.0.5 specifically say that this is an issue they've fixed.

 

Fixed Razer Comms conflict detection occurring prematurely in the launcher and preventing updates.
