[Spoilers]I Need Some Help With Focus

So as the title says i need some help regarding the focus mechanic.I looked through the wiki and got all the info from there but there is something that i cannot find anywhere so i ask some assistance.

 

So my main school is Madurai and i gathered some lenses from sortie missions and trading.Currently i have a lens in my mirage and in my synoid simulor so i can just remove everything else and farm with these 2.

 

My main concern is this.From what i've gathered,even if i put a lens into my secondary and melee,if i don't use em at all they won't earn me any focus points(correct me if im wrong),the question is what happens with the Sentinel?If i equip the sentinel while farming will it reduce the focus im getting cause of the shared affinity?Or will it just not have any impact at all?

 

P.S. I know you cannot equip a lens into a sentinel or it's weapon.

 

So the main question here is when i farm for focus with my Mirage+Simulor witch both have lenses equiped do i have to remove the sentinel to get the maximum efficiency or not?

Well i mean i mentioned about focus in the title,that and i totally forgot about the spoiler part.Anyways it sould be good now,thanks for reminding me. :P
