EChondo Posted December 17, 2015 Share Posted December 17, 2015 So I just received in my inbox an email from "Sword Coast Legends", about a "Steam Free Weekend". Sword Coast Legends is published by Digital Extremes, and the email was sent to an email specifically meant for Warframe only, so I assumed I had a "Send me Promotional emails" checkbox ticked somewhere and there is an option here on the Warframe website under Account Management, but I already had it unchecked. Fortunately there was a link in the email to let me unsubscribe from this new game's email system. So can you(DE) not sign me up for other game's newsletters/promotional emails in the future? Especially when I have that option unchecked for a reason? Thanks. p.s. I know that the checkbox option probably only applies to Warframe, but as far as I'm aware I didn't give anyone permission to sign me up for newsletters to a whole different product.
