JOJ650s
Hello! When I play Warframe my connection is usually pretty good, (save the occasional disconnection.) though when I play with my brother in the same mission, I get connection problems a lot. (every other game depending on length.) We both use Ethernet cables, and both use the same router, and we both have our network drivers up to date. I got both DirectX options canceled. (did it a long while back to improve connection.) I think my brother still has DirectX disabled as well. It also appears that when a connection error happens, it's on my end. (Since for me everyone disappears, while for my brother, he and everyone else remain in a group.) Anyone know what it might be?
0 egregiousRac
DX has no relation to network issues. It is purely graphical. DX10/11 generally should run better on most hardware though. Do you both have the same ports set in the settings? You should have different ports set than anyone else playing on your network or you will run into conflicts. Edit: Here is where the network settings are: UPnP and NAT-PMP should be enabled. Network Ports should be set to something different from what your brother has set. Edited January 14, 2016 by egregiousRac
