Need Some Advice On My Rhino Build

Question

Hi guys I need some advice on my Rhino Prime build. I would like to hear some tips from Rhino users too. I'm also a melee guy and mostly just swing my Galatine most of the time :P

This is my current build, focusing on max efficiency so I can cast Iron Skin or Stomp multiple times without worrying too much about energy. So far I have no problems surviving on normal missions but idk if I can go further than 20 waves on T4 Survival (Btw should I replace Stretch with Ironclad Charge?):

For the second build, I focus more on power strength/tanky build but haven't test it yet as I don't have some of the mods. I'm trying to include Ironclad Charge in this build but I don't know which one to replace:

Strength will let ironskin last longer.  You shouldn't need efficiency to be maxed, but it helps of course.   Str also helps #4 work better, as does more range.  So I would focus on str & range!

Also his faction mod lets you use it to not only do what the text says but as a way to reapply his ironskin.

- its generally considered best to not rely on ironskin at those levels.  It softens a few hits, but its a crutch that you need to get past if you want to progress.  I use it too, just saying that its best if you can learn to not rely on it so you can learn to face off tougher stuff that can pull it off in one hit.

more specifically...

- does armor mod help ironskin??   I don't think you need that one, but I am not 100% sure if it helps or not...  haven't used him in a while

- drift mods are weakish.   Consider messing with that too, unless you really, really want to max out ONE thing.

actually looks like both of those apply to both builds so I will leave you to think about replacing one of those in build 2.

I run

-Energy Sipon (So you have it when you need it)

-Vitality/steel fiber/Armored Agility (Just incase IS goes down and Armor mods improve IS as well so its a win/Win)

-Streamline (Makes casting IS/Stomp more efficient)

-Transient Fortitude/Transient fortitude (Improves iron skin)

-Stretch (For range on stomp mainly)

-Flow/Primed Flow (Larger energy pool to draw from and maximizes the Aura's Potential)

I am an Avid Rhino user and love to play him so I would try this out and see how it goes for ya. The Exilus could be whatever you want it to be but I always run Rush. It also helps to run the Vaykor weapons on him as well because that health regen and constant Blast Procs help you stay in the fight longer. Not to say you cant use what you want but the Vaykor Hek + Rhino = Amazeballz. As for tips MAke sure to use stomp when you feel overwhelmed and Roar when you run into bombards and other heavy units to kill them off quickly. I wouldn't advise using Charge to often but in a pinch it can come in handy. Hope this helps out in some way and have fun Wrecking face!

I have 2 different builds I use for Rhino. One is my solo build, and my other is a team build.

Solo Build:

Rifle Amp - Aura

Power Drift- Exilus (Could also use Coaction Drift if you need more rifle damage)

Armored Agility - Max

Transient Fortitude - R8

Primed Flow - R7

Vitality - R8

Steel Fiber - R8

Intensify - Max

Fleeting Expertise - Max

Streamline - Max

Stats for solo build:

Rhino charge: 1,137.5 damage

Iron Skin: 4,926.25 health

Roar: 1.88 damage multiplier, 5.25 sec duration

Rhino Stomp: 1,400 damage, 1.4 sec duration

Efficiency: Max

Team Build:

Steel Charge - Aura

Power Drift- Exilus (Could also use Coaction Drift if you need more rifle damage)

Steel Fiber - R8

Transient Fortitude - R8

Primed Continuity - R8

Intensify - Max

Redirection - R7

Armored Agility - Max

Primed Flow - R7

Narrow Minded - R5

Team Build Stats:

Rhino Charge: 1,1375.5 damage

Iron Skin: 4,926.25 health

Roar: 1.88 damage multiplier, 52.95 sec duration

Rhino Stomp: 1,400 damage, 14.12 sec duration

Efficiency: 100%

The biggest difference between the two builds is the duration and the efficiency. Solo missions I prefer to have a lot of efficiency so I don't have to constantly drop energy pads. Also, I use the stomp more as a CC so I can preposition myself so I don't need the long duration. For the team build, the efficiency isn't as important since most of the team will be taking turns dropping energy, and the abilities will last longer. The goal here is to keep roar up constantly for more damage, and to ensure the enemies are CC'd for a decent amount of time when necessary.
