How Is The Gun Soma?

I just got a free blueprint for it from the daily login thing. I'm current rank 2(almost 3) and I just made a boltor and have a rhino in constructing

It is very good weapon, it can go up to over 100% crit chance if you mod it correctly. Also 100 magazine (or maybe it's called a clip) size

Amazing.

 

Don't let the low base damage fool you, when properly modded...it's a top class weapon.

Still one of the better guns in the game, although not as much as it used to be. Still a very versatile gun that can be built for many functions (Automatic sniper rifle or faceblast LMG). Good scaling with headshots, etc.

 

Although, since there's a primed version of it, I really wouldn't put too much effort into it.

Although the base Damage is pretty Low, Soma makes up for it in Crits. It has a very high Critical Chance Compared to most Primary Rifles, and it comes with 2 V polarities. Pretty decent Weapon, Although, you must be MR6 to use the normal/Prime Version. Use it for the time being until you can amass the parts needed for its prime counterpart.

Soma Can only get up to 89.4% Critical Chance with a maxed Point Strike and Critical Delay. Only with Arcane Avenger it Can reach up to 100% Critical Chance.

The soma is a very good weapon due to it's relatively high critical chance and large clip, although I would recommend an ammo mutation with it, because it chews through ammo.
