Draco! Starting To Become A Serious Problem...

It's not even MR people are after. 

The problem is with Forma and Level reset when you apply it. Considering Re-Leveling a frame or weapon doesn't give you more experience the grind is pointless and only serves as a means to keep you playing longer. Where in fact when you need to Forma something 5-6 times it makes you not want to play longer, but kill yourself. That's where Draco and similar nodes comes handy, because you can re-level your gun to 5-6 Forma in an hour instead of 6 days. 

DE needs to change how Froma-ing works and nodes like Draco wont be as popular. 

That being said, I don't see a problem with Draco at all, if people wanna spend time there getting their gear ready, more power to them.

People focus too much on MR gain and how important is that. So someone is leveling weapons with Ash in Draco not firing it once. So what? At some point he will reach MR21 and either will stay in Draco forever to forma, which is not a problem, since he will be good at Draco and will stay in Draco. Or will move to other content and will be horrible for a while, and became better as everone else. Why you care how other people play the game?

A lot of popularity of Draco comes from convinience:

  •  It is one of highes level locations where you dont need the key.
  • Small map, so xp will not run away (as in survival)
  • It is running on own popularity, people know draco, as well as run Sechura or Callisto (and some other locations), easy to find group
  • It is interception, which means you can extract anytime, which is big deal, being trap with 1hour farm in survival is not fun

And it allows to deal with nonsense of formating weapons. I already did it once! I know how weapon perform at level 10 or 20, there is nothing new for me in doing it again.

The best fix to Draco:

Change formating rules to not be level again, but more gain afinity to synchronize (to 100%) while remaining at full power before being able to forma again.

Itroduce more high level areas, something like Orokin Void, but not Orokin Void. Maybe pimp Derelict. Or completly new locations with different theme than now like Grineer Orokin Starbase, or Orokin Corpus Spacelab.

The relevelling could be worth only if there will be given constantly xp after you maxed a frame and weapon let's just say you given the total of 10% and then any weapons after max level give you atleast xp. The xp rewards not tiered by levels and the way you get affinity is a problem too. I can agree with this methold how you formaing stuff and relevel everything could be boring personaly not find it too boring but its really only for make longer your in game project but not with the fun aspect.

 

There are many ideas and different ideas how could be fixed but there is no reason to give a feedback because they almost never read them and their concept is the grind play. They will keep it in every way because they want us to play the game longer and spend money but sometimes they can't grant the fun for it.

 

For maxed level stuff could be solution to add forma and polarity depend on how much forma do you have so once you reach the max level and you can spend ur formas  there but then the problem will be the too fast content burn and peoples will cry about how empty the game is. Other solution could be if we formaing our stuff atleast they could give us the ability for stat points what we can spend on our weapon certain areas like utility/damage wise each level up gives for example 3 points which improve an area by percent or by a fix stat like you forma your braton and you given 3 extra point and you boost the reload speed by 25-30% or give fix 3x5 damage to each damage type. Then your weapon could be more powerful and with mods it become more viable the weak weapon and could be more powerful the strong. There could be limitations like 5 times formad your stuff and that could be a cap. This could avoid the powercreep but before need overhaul other systems like the enemy scaling, ai, detection zones, hitboxes and stealth play for example.

 

Mandatory mods only could be removed if the mod system itself changing or entirely remving and implement a better skill tree system and instead mods we can use stat points to improve our weapons.
