Cache Clearing...

I have had problems with launching warframe and I sent a ticket to support.The first solution didn't work however when I was prompted to clear the cache for the game...1st: I don't know what this exactly does. 2nd: Does this remove all my data permanently(I have made in-game purchases,will it remove this too?)?

Your purchases and everything related to your account are all stored on DE's servers, so no matter what you do to the game files on your system, nothing bad will happen to your account.

Does this include all my progress?

So when I login to warframe(I'm on Xbox 1 BTW) I will still have everything I had?

According to what I read, clearing your xbox's cache is done by simply unplugging it's power for about two minutes.

I hope that calms your suspicions of actually losing valuable data.

 

Cache is basicly a storage that lowers your loading times due to storing often used data. It connects not to any savegame data or the likes.

All progress data for warframe is stored on their servers. ALL.

Your in-game items and progress will not be affected.

Hold down the power button on your Xbone until it turns off. Turn it back on after a few seconds and that will clear your cache. I had to do it a lot when playing DA:I multi-player. You will not lose any of your data.
