How Do You Do The Clashing Forest Combo "battering Roots"?

It says B, B, pause, B, B, B.

And I've done this over and over and it doesn't do anything different. One time I accidentally did it, and it's like, this cartwheel combo. But I can't do it regularly. There doesn't seem to be timing for it at all. Anyone know?

you should time it meaning you press the attack button 2 times, then wait for 1 second or so then press it 3 more times.

 

Keep in mind after you nailed the pause part you're looping the animation and combo (if it works on console)

Definitely does - I cartwheeled around that huge Corpus interception map one time just for boredom because I had a Mirage in the party so my Frost was kinda useless.  OP, attack speed can screw with it.  Take off berserker if you have it on and put on fury instead for consistency (yes, I know it's less DPS).  Maybe try with no speed mods, or spoiled strike and fury for +10%.  Pause combos can be a bit rough to nail if your attack speed's too fast, because by the time you've registered a pause, it's decided the combo window is closed.  Berserker obviously really screws with this by making you learn four different tempos.
