Speed Trigger

Hi,

I have the speed trigger mod, and I am wondering since it makes bows shoot 2x faster, does it change for every time I upgrade it? Like say it starts as "10% fire rate(2x for bows)" and I upgrade it to "60% fire rate(2x for bows)" does that mean that no matter how much I upgrade it its only 2x the original fire rate of the bow?

For bows, the change is double what the number says for that rank, so the 60% would be 120% for bows.
