Warframe [Steam] Wont Start

Hi

Since Version 18 of warframe it no longer gets past the launcher on steam.  Does anybody know a sollution on how to get it working?

It's in my list as 'Warframe.x64.exe'.  In general if it's already running then 1) steam will say it, and 2) the launcher will whinge about another copy running.

 

Another thing to try is to do the install without using steam (e.g. directly from www.warframe.com).

 

If you're using Windows 10, also do a 'restart' rather than shutdown/power on - since the 'fast boot' means that it doesn't necessarily do a real reboot.

This could be one of two things. 

1) Check your task manager to see if warframe is running in the background.

 

2) Steam may be the one with the problem. Restarting may help.

 

If neither of those things are the problem, re-verify your game data either through Steam or from the launcher gear wheel.

I have this problem sometimes go to task manager then processes and look through there it'll be toward the bottom I don't remember what's it's called but it has the warframe lotus emblem
