R5 Farming

Hello, I'm trying to find out good places to farm R5 Fusion Cores. I've read a bunch of posts about how amazing Triton is and I tried it but can't seem to get hardly any out of the mission, I was wondering if maybe those guides were outdated and there is a better place to farm now? Any tips are helpful thank you in advance ^_^

Yea triton is not worth the time anymore.. first they changed the dropchance for cores (no source. only personal experience), then they destroyed the excavation missions in general. but there are no real alternatives at the moment. Well you can do that fomorian stuff which is available now...

Iirc, Neptune: Triton and Pluto: Hieracon both have a 25% chance to reward 5x r5c in the A rotation (which is half the time). Maybe you were just unlucky?

Right now, you can also do Archwing runs against that Fomorian if you have some decent gear. You get a guaranteed 5x r5c,  I think.

Also, you can get a bunch out of Sorties if you do them regularly, as all the current season's one-time rewards will get replaced with 25x r5c the next time you'd get one.

 

(Can someone confirm the drop chances?)

i've always had the best time getting R5 Cores from Hieracon so Kontrollo you're correct; R5 Cores are great to have; I've also had some luck in Tower III and IV areas too
