Question

Hey guys, i have recently came back to the game, and there are few things bothering me. Im not sure what im supposed to be doing, i think the last time i was playing warframe was about a year ago or so. Is there some kind of a main story i could follow? I remember that when i was playing back then, i was just picking off some maps on which i could find relevant materials that i needed in order to get a specific warframe, or a mods i could use to enhance such. Also, is there some kind of a page that could help me pick good working mods to a weapon or warframe? And lastly, how is the pvp working? I cannot use there the mods i do use on the cooperative mode, but there are some that i can use right?

  1. There are some story quests. You'll want to get the Natah quest by scanning a randomly spawning Oculyst. It'll be obvious when they spawn. This quest leads to one of the biggest lore/story quests in the game currently. Other than this, not a whole lot. Check the market for Quest BPs and the Codex for some of the early game quests.
  2. You could try Warframe Builder to mess around with modding as such. It shows all the mods in the game, so some maybe not be regularly available. There are also build saved there from other people that you can use to get an idea on how things are generally modded.
  3. PvP has been changed to not use regular mods. There are mods designed specifically for PvP known as Conclave Mods. PvP is limited to those mods. There are a few mods that work in both PvE and PvP but are gotten through PvP.

Hopefully this answers the questions you asked. If not, I'll check back later if anything needs to be cleared up ^^

Hi,

First of all, welcome back :)

There are a few lore quests that you can start (Natah and Second Dream) as well as some other side quests to get some of the newer frames. if you want to see what quests are available then see here: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Quest

There is a fan run site which allows you to put different mods on to weapons and Warframes, see here: http://warframe-builder.com/

In terms of PvP you are correct that only certain mods and weapons can be used within the PvP area to keep the balance. The latest information can be found here: https://warframe.com/news/building-warframe-conclave-improvements

I hope this answers most of your questions.

Hello and welcome back!

There are currently 2 "important" lore quests: Natah and The Second Dream. The second dream quest unlocks a lot of new content. As Ruby Rose mentioned you need to scan Oculyst for the first quest, i personally had the most luck at Titania-Uranus /The bossfight. When you finish natah you automatically get second dream.

PS. There is now a gamemode called archwing, you need to finish a quest to get it. Its pretty much wings so you might not be able to enter some missions on Uranus if you don't have it. You can find blueprint for the quest in the market, build it in foundry, now you can go out there to complete the quest and....kill stuff

When it comes to mods you can either use http://warframe-builder.com/ to experiment or watch some youtubers such as Mogamu or GayGuyPlays (dunno what the channel is called)You can check http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/WARFRAME_Wiki If you need info on some drop locations of mods, primes, void keys or stats, opinions, etc

In PvP you can use only some mods and certain warframe abilities are modified so they aren't overpowered (such as trinity's link)

There are currently 3 gamemodes in PvP

1.Annihilation (Deathmatch)

2.Team Annihilation (Team Deatchmatch)

3.Cephalon Capture (Capture the flag)

PvP wasnt intended to exist in warframe and was added because some people were crying about it for long enough so it was added (or so i heard) thus there is little no content in PvP. It sometimes is a nice relief/change from the grindfest though.

You might want to join a clan, there is surely some big one that will accept you. If you ask in clan chat you should get noticed by more people than here and get answered faster as well.

Oh, one more thing......RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. THIS GAME WILL CONSUME YOU!.

That should be about it. I hope i answered some of your questions, have fun!
