Ok, seems like the 64bit option in the launcher is causing stuttering for me. Unchecking that fixes it and allows the game to run smoothly.

As he said in another post, switching to 32-bit seems to work for me also.

My build specs:

OS: Windows 7 Pro x64

CPU: AMD FX-8350 8-core 4.3 GHz

Mobo: MSI MS-7693

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB x4 DDR3 (16GB)

GPU: MSI Twin Frozr GTX 980

Side note: The game randomly crashed for no reason while in the liset after some time with 64-bit enabled, didn't occur to me to write down the WAR number.

Update: Problems no longer seem to persist for me when switching back to 64-bit as of 18.5.1

I have AMD, and everything was going as normal for me, until I went to the new Spy mission in Earth's moon, i was playing the mission normally, until i went into the spy room.

Long story short the game froze OUT OF NOWHERE and then it crashed

I tried playing again, this time after the hotfix, and I did the same thing, go to the earth's moon spy mission and THE SAME THING HAPPENED! This time, it didnt crash instantly, it just froze for 1 minute, came back for a few seconds and then it crashed, might as well wait for tomorrow for them to release a performance hotfix, and maybe I'll try to play again
