Moon Spy vault cache room

How does one get into the cache-filled room near the end of the big spy vault?

I know you can bypass that room in the 'now', but this will not grant any access to the room in the 'void'-mode.

Go to the other side the cache room, near the console. Shoot the container in the present which knocks that big stone pillar into the rift and smashes the door.

When you blow up the pillar in the present time, the top part gets knocked over and enters the "Time Rift" next to it thus damaging the door in the past.

Yeah I figured it out looking at the pictures and edited it just before you posted :P

Thanks, I didn't think of using the 'present' to influence the 'past'.
