When you do Syndicate missions. You can find Medallions. Up to 8 in a mission. (Except for Defense & Interception). Some Medallions are worth more than others (names are different. In your case Defender & General). You can redeem Medallions in the relay. Just find your syndicate door on the main floor of the relay. (Will display syndicate logo on the door. You cant miss it). Medallions increases your rep for that syndicate when you redeem them. If you want to learn a bit more.
