Improvements to Chroma

Chroma is a very blank frame

Now I love Chroma very much, but I cant help thinking that he does very little things that lots of frames do better/faster.

Armor ? We got Valkyr and now, Inaros which are way better

Tanking ? Again, Valkyr,Limbo or Frost have way better methods of tanking.

CC ? He only has one stun from his 4, and the slow from his cold element is easily substituted more effectively by a Nova or Frost

What I want to see happen is Chroma becoming something like a blank slate,with more focus on his element ACTIVELLY impacting him and the battlefield / teammates.

The great thing about this is, I dont want his skills to change at all, simply for them to have a bigger impact on the team depending on Chroma´s elemnt

Fire

- Damage of his 1 increases over time by 10/20/30/50 %

- His 2 now gives him and teammates a health boost AND also boosts their damage, making enemies killed in the area of Chroma´s Ward explode in fire !

- His 3 will buff his armor when damage to shields is done, and each time he takes 150/125/100/100 damage, enemies around him will be set ablaze,stunning them. If atleast 10/12/15/20 enemies are killed while his 3 is active, his and nearby teammates´ HP is replenished by 50%

- His Effigy creates a impassable wall of fire around it, while also granting bonus armor and HP regen to you and nearby teammates, in addition to burning enemies with its breath

 

Cold

- His 1 will turn killed enemis into walls of ice, which can be used as cover but can be broken by bullet fire.

- 2 still buffs his armor, but it now creates a slowing aura around him,that grows as he or nearby teammates take damage. At the end of the skill, 10% of the damage Chroma took is expended as Ice damage to nearby enemies.

- 3 will grant him 50/60/70/75% damage resistance and release Ice Spikes each 5/5/5/3 seconds, slowing and damaging enemies. This abbility now gets a health bar instead of a timer. Any leftover Vex health can be used as and Ice AoE if the ability is recast

- Effigy will periodically ragdoll enemies with his frost breath, in addition to giving teammates bonus armor and giving their weaponry partial Cold damage. 50% of the damage the team and Chroma deal tp the Effigy will be redirected to nearby enemies.

Shock

- His 1 becomes and instant cast that hurls a scream of lighting in a straight line, shock-stunning enemies and granting Chroma 20% of the damage deal as shields.

- Elemental Ward gives everyone including Chroma an overshield of 200/300/400/500. If Chroma gets a kill with his 1 while his 2 is active, the amount of shielding he gets is doubled. Also, teammates get a power strength bonus while inside the Wards range.

- Vex Armor will grant Chroma a Ubershield, which lasts until the end of the abbility. If Chroma deals enough damage, the Ubershield is converted into an overshield at the end of Vex Armor.

- Chroma´s Effigy will replenish energy each second it is active, and will grant shields to nearby teammates, while also increasing shield regen. A Shock Effigy can also summon small balls of lighting thath hover around it,dealing AoE damage.

Toxic

- His 1 steals health from enemies and grants it to Chroma.

- Elemental Ward will summon a bubble around Chroma that protects him and teammates inside it from all non-AoE damage, while poisoning enemies slightly outside its radius. Enemies killed in the bubble release a noxious explosion of Gas damage.

- Vex Armor instantly grants Chroma movement speed and alot of armor, aswell as releasing corrosive damage each time he collides with an enemy, also applying the proc

- Toxic Effigy will scare enemies away every few seconds, while granting nearby allies bonus damage,reload speed, swing speed and fire rate.

He's good at what he does, there's no point in arguing that frame A does something better than frame B.

The only skill that needs a buff is Spectral Scream. It's useless and should be changed. Generally Chroma is fine, but I like some of your suggestions. Just leave Vex Armor alone.

Only thing thats need to be changed is his 1st ability and toxic element, the rest is fine.

Its funny how u can crit 500k+dmg with a semulor NOT build for crit,with just 200%power vex armor.

That how strong vex armor is .
